Goods and Knowledge were exchanged along the Silk Road, which fuelled the development of the civilisation and culture between the regions for centuries. Though silk, tea, spices were the major items traded, other intangible assets were exchanged, such as culture, religions, ideas, knowledge, philosophies, and techologies.Today, we see that many goods and assets have been digitized. Silicon, from which semiconductors are made, in final forms (e.g. end devices, servers) are paving vast new trade route (e.g. networks). on these new routes or Silicon Road, goods and knowledge are created, digitized, applied, traded, managed and valued in unprecedented ways and pace. Our world is again connected, fuelling new waves of discoveries, challenges and opportunites.
